Information for services referring to Bristol Nightstop

Who are we?

Bristol Nightstop is a project from Caring In Bristol.

Bristol Nightstop is funded through a grant from the Big Lottery.

Bristol Nightstop is accredited by Depaul Nightstop UK, the national body for Nightstop projects.

Who do we help?

16 -25 year olds who are at risk of becoming homeless, sofa surfing or sleeping rough in Bristol.

What do we do?

Our Key Workers will support young people who are at risk of becoming homeless by giving them independent expert advice, helping them to return home where this is possible, supporting them when and where they need it to access services and securing a safe place to stay through our Host Network when no one else can help and no other emergency accommodation is available.

Our Volunteer Hosts offer a warm room to stay in their own home free of charge, an evening meal, breakfast, support and compassion,  while we work to resolve the immediate crisis.  Volunteer Hosts will be supported and trained by  Bristol Nightstop.

We provide the practical support for young people aged 16-25 need when they find themselves at risk of sleeping rough at night in Bristol.
